01 / 29Design: Venue catalogue
The task
Develop an application for booking restaurants and other venues. Users should be able to choose a venue, explore its details and proceed to a reservation.
The solution
The team developed Get Place as a service with a mobile interface and backend. Its core flows connect venue discovery with selecting a specific seat.
- Categories and search for venue discovery.
- Venue details, menus and a booking entry point.
- Table selection on a floor plan, date and time.
- Menu orders, a cart and split payment for groups.
- Venue conversations, reviews and rock paper scissors within the booking flow.
- Wallet, transaction history, top-up and transfer recipient selection.
- Registration, profile settings, per-venue balances and a QR code.
My contribution
I worked within the team as a fullstack developer, contributing to the mobile application and backend. The product was a team effort; this case presents the user flows and my area of involvement.
The outcome
The mobile experience connects venue discovery and booking. The gallery presents selected Figma screens; the Get Place website has a separate case study.
